There was that 300 pound fat lady doing the boogalou, an old folks boogie. I get a kick out of a lot of people dancing in the street.

A lot of blues musicians played here; some sat in with us. James Cotton sat in with us. Urban blues started in Chicago from Maxwell Street and traveled all over the world. It would be tragic if it were closed down. People are using this for surviving.
