I have been pretty busy doing things unrelated to street vending and street markets recently, and which have taken me away from updating this site. I would like to ask you to help me out if you can do any of the following. First, I would like to add new photo-tours of street markets or inside markets that you know of and would like to document. I can help you design a web page if you can email me copies of the photos and your own narrative. The resulting webpage can be posted on this site (authored by you, of course) or on your own (as long as we mutually interlink). Second, I really want to build up my poor narrative bibliography of books related to the informal economy and street vending, etc. I have about a dozen books so far. I can add many more myself, but I want to get others involved. So, if you want to send me a brief summary/review/critique of any book you read about the informal economy, street markets, or any related issue, I will post your comments under your name. Remember, I can't pay you, but I can make you fabulously famous!
