Farming lie at the heart of Southwestern culture. Pueblo Indians along the Rio Grande farmed for centuries before the Europeans came. In the 1500s Spanish settlers introduced old-world crops and livestock, resulting in a unique blend of customs and cuisine exemplified by the chile ristras hanging from so many regional homes. Combine this rich Southwestern heritage with flourishing vineyards and the upscale gourmet trade of the 90's, and we offer a millennium of marketing tradition.
