Take a break from Blues Fest to visit the roots of Chicago blues at historic Maxwell St. Free tours begin each day at noon at the corner of Maxwell and Halsted. Look for the person wearing the "Save Maxwell Street" button.

Live blues Saturday and Sunday.

See Maxwell St. before it is destroyed by the expansion of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Where: (from the Chicago Blues Festival) : From Grant Park take Michigan Ave. south to Roosevelt Rd, and Roosevelt west to Halsted. Maxwell is 4 blocks south of Roosevelt. See you there!

When: Noon Friday 6/4, Saturday 6/5 & Sunday 6/6
