I strongly support the efforts of the Maxwell Street Historic Preservation Coalition which are trying to stop the destruction of Maxwell Street. It is every public institutions duty to take care of a country's heritage values.
Heritage values like this is irreplaceable, and is therefore best left undestroyed, as later generations will condemn the destroyer as fatal.
