Dear Chancellor Broski,

I would like to voice my support for the extremely worthy and important cause of preserving Maxwell St. The Delta Kitchen Bluespage is dedicated to the preservation of blues music and to the education of future generations about the rich legacy and invaluable contribution that blues music has made to modern music as a whole and to American culture. The preservation of Maxwell St. is a key component to the preservation of the blues. Not only does Maxwell St. hold an important place in the history of Chicago, it is also a site considered sacred by blues fans and historians the world over.

Thank you for your efforts in saving Maxwell St., Chancellor and The Delta Kitchen will continue to support this effort for as long as it takes to preserve this precious piece of blues history. A story about the fight to save Maxwell Street can be found this month in the Blues News & Views section of the Delta Kitchen Web Site at http://home1.gte.net/deltakit/blsnwsvwscont.htm.

All the best,

Glenn Adams
