Dear Chancellor David Broski;

SHAME ON YOU! Shame on you for wanting to destroy a part of this great United States musical history and shame on me if I don't let you know how I and a lot of other people feel about the 'Blues.' Any thing, any one, any where, at any time--that has to do with the 'Blues' DOES INDEED! not only deserve to be 'saved,' but deserves to be treated with the respect and the awe that any part of our history as a United States gets.

I reside in the Seattle, Washington area now, but I have family and friends that live in Racine, Wisconsin--this is where I grew up. So I am quite familiar with certain parts of Chicago and Maxwell Street is one of them. I have already contacted my many friend and family members that live in Wisconsin and Illinois to let them know that you, Mr. Broski, are attempting to destroy a living monument that depicts the musical history of so many!

Thank you,

Shelli Drummer
