Fish Fashion

by Eric Zestburg

It sounds as if he is a "fire from the hip" kind of guy and intellectually sharp and witty so that he can obfuscate what is really at issue. Although I believe that UIC could be helped by a real intellectual in his position, the problem usually is that the people who make their way to the top in the "Fish fashion" are mainly concerned about their own careers and are not likely to put that in jeopardy. Thus, one can be provocative and seemingly radical and get applauded by the establishment. It seems a paradox, but really isn't.
